Results of the Touch Rugby Tournament on 16th June 2012 at Kineton High School

Six teams from across Warwickshire battled it out in a highly competitive series of games at Kineton High School this afternoon.  Each team payed the others in a series of close fought matches to see who would end up top of the table and walk away with Edgehill Gold.


It was a close match with the lower medals being decided on points difference, but the clear winners from Stratford were the the Panthers of 'S'.


The teams from Radway and Ratley played well, but finished up 5th and 6th respectively.  Kineton (Peter Lane, Chris Rowles, Steve Landrey, Sean Geary, Simon Heaton, Kirsty Lindsey, Lorna Johnson, Dave Hutchings and Andy Smith) were just edged into 4th place, but the wining teams were:

Gold Medalists:
The Panthers of 'S' (Stratford) - (Jay Kennedy, Glen Fergusson, Cal Cook, Jo Cook, Alex Roe, Geoff Dyson, Rooney)


Silver Medalists:
Ilmington - (Mark Ashworth, Lisa Lane, Tom Jervis, Richard Aitcheson, Tom Ashworth, Paul Hoff)


Bronze Medalists:
The 'S' Panthers (Stratford) - (Dom Skinner, Dave Pearson, Ross Hutchingson, Lily Lippard, Lizzie Sloves, Rob Oliver, Seb le Feurve Harrison)


Well done to everyone that took part and a big thank you to Paul Scanlon and Chris Hargreaves of the regional RFU development team for coming along to run the day.  A huge thank you also goes to Kineton High School and to Colin Naismith and Jo Rolls of Get Me Into for hosting the event.
